About Me
Hi, I’m Michelle Westerheide, M.A., CCC-SLP, founder and owner of Speech Savvy
Speech Savvy was founded out of a true love for helping individuals and to provide local families access to individualized speech therapy services in a comfortable setting. We believe that comprehensive outpatient services should be available in our small communities, without the drive to a bigger city. Our goal is to evaluate and treat a variety of speech deficits and allow each client to grow to their maximum potential and effectively communicate with all audiences.

We are trained in a variety of services and populations, including birth-5, school age kids, adolescents, and adults, with a specialty in early language development and articulation. Our goal is to evaluate and treat a variety of speech deficits and allow each client to grow to their maximum potential and effectively communicate with all audiences.
Our Approach
Passionate, Effective, Individualized
At Speech Savyy, we take a holistic approach to evaluations and treatment, looking at the patient as whole and working to determine the root cause of deficits. All aspects of the client’s history, environment, and future goals are considered during the evaluation and course of treatment. We believe that building a strong rapport with clients and their families is equally as important as therapy itself. A play-based approach is utilized for our littles, working towards structure and routine. Providing the client and the patient tools to empower them and help them have the most efficient and effective form of communication.
