Our Services

We are trained in a variety of services and populations, including birth-5, school age kids, adolescents, and adults, with a specialty in early language development and articulation. Our goal is to evaluate and treat a variety of speech deficits and allow each client to grow to their maximum potential and effectively communicate with all audiences.

Early Intervention

Serving the birth to 3 population in language acquisition and fundamentals of play. Teaching parents how to elicit speech and communication in the home and how to help their children communicate efficiently and effectively.

Articulation and Stuttering

Teaching children the proper way to produce sounds in conjunction with other sounds to produce words intelligibly and communicate efficiently. As well as, teaching children techniques to aid in stuttering to effectively reduce occurrences of stuttering and provide tools to independently utilize these strategies in conversation.

Cognition
(Memory, Attention, Reasoning, Problem Solving, Executive Function)

Post stroke? TBI? Trouble recalling information and completing daily tasks? Cognitive therapy covers all of these areas, optimizing daily function and resuming daily task you may have lost the ability to complete for a variety of reasons.

Communication and Interaction

Serving children struggling with appropriate interactions with peers for a variety of reasons, demonstrating difficulty responding appropriately in social situations.

Virtual

All of our services can be offered virtually, via a HIPPA compliant platform, in the state of Ohio, if deemed appropriate for the patient. I encourage an in person evaluation to be completed to allow for optimal examination of deficits and to establish the best plan of treatment, with subsequent sessions completed virtually.

Receptive/
Expressive Language Disorders

Helping children learn to understand and execute language for a variety of purposes, including following directions and expressing basic wants and needs.

Swallowing

Evaluating the safety of the swallow and completing exercises to improve muscle strength to improve swallow function.

AAC

Utilization of a speech generated device to provide patients with a form of communication that does not require them to talk. AAC is utilized in a variety of situations in which the patient demonstrates difficulty acquiring expressive language and can also be utilized as a tool to facilitate verbal language.

School Age
(Reading, Writing, Dyslexia, Cognition)

Serving children who require extra assistance in school struggling with reading/writing skills, reasoning/problem solving, and language tasks such as grammatical structures and social interactions with peers.
